So that’s what it’s called…

I have recently started playing through the Professor Layton series again.  Well, let’s be honest: I had finally decided to finish playing the game I started about 4 years ago.  Actually, I’ve restarted the game a few times in between because I would stop playing long enough that I forgot what was happening in-game.  Anyhow…  I restarted and finally finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village.  It is a fantastic game and the extended delay in finishing it had nothing to do with the game itself, only in my ability to sit still with a DSi in my hands.  I have now moved onto the second game in the series, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.  I would actually being playing it at this very moment instead of writing this post had I not needed to stop and charge my DSi.  I know, I could always play while the DSi is charging but the point of a DSi is the freedom to play anywhere, not tethered to an outlet.  I’d post up a review of the games but they have been out for a while now and there is really nothing I could say that hasn’t already been said, and probably said better to boot.

I’m enjoying my rekindled relationship with Professor Layton (hey, the 6th times the charm, right?) and look forward to our further adventures.  If you like puzzles, and I mean ones that challenge the way you perceive things or that tap into your math skills or even simple (and not so simple) logic problems, then you should look into the series.  I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Gotta run.  Looks like my DSi is finally charged.  So, Professor, where were we?
